Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists and Flowers of Fall
October 14, 2009
Hi Stamping Friends. I wish I could say that fall is here in the desert southwest, but while it is a little cooler, I am still running the air condiitoner. Hopefully cooler days are ahead. Today I want to share with you the samples for this weekend's classes which feature beautful seasonal colors and lots of techniques.
On the left is a card made with Tattered Angels Winter Trees Glimmer Screens and an embossing technique that is way cool! For the card on the right I used one of the Just Rite Stampers Autumn Blessings stamps and made paper using glimmer mists then die cut the leaf. Both cards use glimmer mists in a variety of colors.
This card features bright candy apple red glimmer mist and a flower stamp from Magenta . I also distressed the background paper with glimmer mist. For the snowflake card at right, I used the Ice Crystals Glimmer Screens, embossed the snowflake then spritzed with glimmer mist. These are very versaitle and colorful products so please join me for this informative class.
Fall flowers can be anything from sunflowers to pumpkins and we will use stamps and die cuts of all these images in saturday afternoon's class. Discover ways to use your stamps and die cuts in new ways; how to create a subtle background using Perfect Pearls; and how to color with Copic markers. here are two more samples we will make in the class:
Please join us for the fun and learn more about the art of stamping!
