Papercrafting Christmas Gifts, Part 2
December 03, 2016
Hello Friends. Winter has blown into the desert southwest making it a perfect time to stay inside and make Christmas cards and gifts. Each year I give my nieces a group of gift cards to their favorite stores, usually mounted in a book. This year I decided to make a set of gift card tags and give these in a Tag Box. The box is constructed with Taylored Expressions Tagging Along die and decorated with TE’s Trim the Tag die set. The tags are decorated with a variety of different die sets.

Each tag was cut with the tag from the TE Trim the Tag die set. For this Walmart tag I used the TE set What's Cookin'? I made a pocket on the back of each tag for the actual gift card.

For the Barnes and Noble tag, I used TE stamp set In Other Words, Read, and a tiny little girl reading a book that I cut with the Impression Obsession die Reading Tree.

The Bed Bath & Beyond tag was fun to decorate. I used TE stamp set and matching die set Wash Dry Repeat. Gift Card Tag -- Bed, Bath & Beyond
My nieces love Chick-Fil-A so there had to be a "cow tag"!! I used the cow from TE's Calendar Critters along with TE's Little Bits dies Barn, Silo and Sun and clouds and dies Rolling Hills and Farm Fence. The cute little sign came from TE's If Turkeys Could Talk with some artwork from the Chick-Fil-A website. Fun!
For the Home Depot tag I used TE's Pegboard die (cut from cork) and the stamp combo set All The Fixings.
Last but never least is the Pet's Mart tag. I used dog and cat dies from Poppystamps and Impression Obsession.
