End of the Year Sale, Sale, Sale
January 04, 2015
Hello friends. I hope your life is returning to normal now that the holidays are officially over. I will miss the time off but not the hectic pace. After I returned from visiting a friend in Tucson, I settled into my lovely living room and binge watched all 4 seasons of Downton Abbey. It’s such a great series, but all the drama and intrigue, both upstairs and downstairs, left me a bit overwhelmed!
I finished marking down all the sale merchandise and as usual, my “red pen” got the best of me and there are deep discounts on many, many dies, stamps, tools and papers. Plus we have lots of new things to tempt you – samples coming soon!
Calendars
I finished my 2015 calendar using the new 12 months calendar set and dies from Taylored Expressions (there are a few from Impression Obsession and Poppystamps, too). Now let me show you three ways to display this clever calendar set. My favorite is the 12” x 12” shadowbox that can be propped up on a desk or hung on the wall.
Or you may choose the smaller 4” x 6” shadowbox. For this one I made the background from black cardstock then added a shelf made from 4 thicknesses of cardstock. This way you can stack the calendar months on the shelf. The three little openings along the right side of the box can be filled with photos or die cuts or whatever pleases you. The good thing about the shadowboxes is that you can add the calendar with just a bit of tape so that next year you can update it or fill it with other items.
Finally, an easy way to display this calendar set is on a Mini Easel. All these displays are available at The Stamp Act.
