Fall Cards

Watering-Can-LeavesOne of the best things about fall are the deep, rich colors that appear in the landscape.  For this card, I took white cardstock, a variety of Distress inks and the new round ink blending tool and created the paper which I ultimately die cut for the leaves.  The watering can was die cut from white cardstock, covered with Versamark ink then heat embossed with silver embossing powder.  To darken the shiny silver I rubbed it with Distress Black Soot ink.  The background was stamped with a text stamp (with much of the ink blotted off with a baby wipe) then sprayed with Goosebumps to give it a bumpy texture.  Next I stenciled green ink through the Mesh stencil and distressed the edges with Distress Vintage Photo ink.  A very pretty card for a lovely fall day.

  Meadow-Leaf

Here’s a very simple yet pretty fall card using a leaf that you might associated with spring rather than fall.

Note:  I am sorry this picture does not capture the colors well at all.
