‘Tis the haunting season so I’ve been making lots of Halloween cards using all the cool new stamps and dies we’ve gotten in recently.
Scary Background – These cards are all made with thePoppystamps die Scary Background. I die cut the die in the background color, saving the words and letters. Then I covered the back with scor tape and inlaid the words and letters in a contrasting color. I then embellished some of the cards with other die cuts.
Scary Background Purple – Poppystamps die Scary Background; Taylored Expressions die Gothic Accessories; Impression Obsession die Halloween Set; Memory Box die Ghastly Ghosts; Designer: Kimberly Coleman
Scary Background Lime Dot – Poppystamps die Scary Background; Memory Box die Dangling Spider
Witch Brewing Tree – Impression Obsession dies Witch Brewing and Tree Frame; Impression Obsession die Halloween Set; Taylored Expressions die Gothic Accessories; Designer: Kittie
Witch Brewing Skeleton – Impression Obsession die Witch Brewing and stamp Witch’s Chant; Memory Box die Dancing Skeleton
Don't you love the skeleton bones and skull peeking out of the witch's cauldron? Such fun!
Village House – Memory Box dies Village House. Harvest Moon Tree and Puffy Clouds; Spellbinders die Classic Circles; Designer: Marnie Bushmole
I ove this Village House card because it reminds me of a winter scene more than Halloween. The gray overcast skies and chilly looking clouds even with the sun give me a chill!
Ghostly Boo – Memory Box dies Ghostly Trio and Haunting Webs; Impression Obsession die Alphabet Plain lower case; Designer: Marnie Bushmole
The Spooky Background stamp is very versatile. Here I stamped it on orange cardstock with a deeper orange ink (Memento Moroccco).
Enjoy these samples and thanks for stopping by!
