The gift card holder shown above is easy to make.  You can see a tutorial at .  I used paper from Girls Paperie and stamps from A Stamp in the Hand (Santa); Impress (Merry Christmas) and Hero Arts (a gift for you).  To cut the slits holding the gift card I used the ribbon slot punch by Making Memories.  If you’re giving any gift cards this season, stop in and I will be happy to show you how to make one!

I usually don’t decorate the house for Christmas, but this year I was in the mood for some holiday cheer.  I know this is not the best photo, however I hope you can see that I made all the ornaments using Graphic 45 Christmas paper and Tim Holtz and Spellbinder dies.  I decided to go very vintage this year.  Here are some close ups of some of the “ornaments.”

Santa-1 Santa-2 Snowman

I die cut the snowman ornaments using the Tim Holtz Sizzix snowman and his Movers and Shapers “Wish” and “Joy” dies.  First I die cut the snowman out of chipboard to which I adhered white cardstock.  The Sizzix dies cut easily in the Wizard, Cuttlebug and EPIC 6.  For the Wizard you will need the Sizzix plate (which comes with your Wizard).  Just place the chipboard/cardstock (white side down) on top of the foam side of the die and place the Sizzix mat on top.  Run it through the Wizard.

To cut the “Mover and Shaper” die in the snowman, I placed a piece of chipboard on top of the Sizzix plate to make my “sandwich” a wee bit thicker.  Then I put the “wish” die on the Sizzix plate cut side up and laid the snowman die cut on top of it.  I placed a second Sizzix cut plate on top and ran it through the Wizard.  I used the same “Wish” and “Joy” dies with the Spellbinders ornaments (sorry no photos) and they turned out great.
