Graphic 45 Proper Gentlemen Cards

Hi friends and bloggers.  Today I am sharing with you some handsome cards I made using the relatively new Proper Gentlemen paper, tags and borders from Graphic 45 papers.  This paper is addictive -- like the old commercial for Lays Potato Chips said -- you can't make just one card!  The papers and tags are so inspirational that I kept thinking of ideas.  I finally called a halt to it simply because I had other things to play with.  But believe me I can see many more cards using this paper in the future.  FYI:  Watch for a cool project coming using Graphic 45's Botanicabella paper.

Pocket-Watch Classic-1 I will start with my favorite card which I call the Pocket Watch.  To make the chain I used some new ring dangle chin I had just received from 7 Gypsies.  The letters are also from Graphic 45 and are FREE when you purchase any of their papers.  For the next card (You are a classic) I used the pin stripe suiting paper and one of the tags.  The sentiment is spelled out using Tiny Type stickers (Cosmo Cricket) and the buttons were die cut using Spellbinders Timeless Heritage die.

Golf Splendid-Adventure Many men love to play golf so this card is perfect for that set.  It uses a tag, bright green argyle paper, Spellbinders Labels 11 (with the sides cut off!) and a sentiment stamp from  A Muse Art Stamps.  I love the Splendid Adventure card.  The Explore and Discover stamp is by Hero Arts (the date part of the stamp is cut off) and the Splendid Adventure is by Tim Holtz (Stampers Anonymous).  I love the rich red color!

Classic-2 Door-Ways The paper pad includes a whole page of vintage cards so I had to make a card using them.  The sentiment stamp is from Art Gone Wild.  And the architectural paper is perfect for this sentiment stamp from Stampers Anonymous.

I-Like-Your-Style Timeless-Cool Finally I have two cards for the man who loves to dress fashionably.  The Style sentiment stamp is from Printworks and the "Timeless Cool" sentiment is a hybrid: "Timeless" from Just Right Stampers (retired self-inking set) and "Cool" from a new Hero Arts cling set that actually has a "Timeless Cool" stamp but the Timeless was too big for the space I had.

I hope you enjoy these cards and hope that they inspire you to make some of your own.  I will teach the first four cards in a class Saturday, June 5 at 10 to Noon,  I hope you can join us!  Thanks for stopping by!
